PURPOSE:To prepare cooked rices having taste similar to that of cooked rices cooked from the beginning in a short time without any failure by placing cooked rices cooked according to a conventional method in a pressure cooker, further taking out and then heating the cooked rices over a direct fire in a short time. CONSTITUTION:Cooked rices cooked according to a conventional method are directly placed in a pressure cooker or divided into small portions in containers and, together with the containers, placed in the pressure cooker. In the process, a small amount of water or hot water, as necessary, is added to steam the cooked rices. The resultant cooked rices in the containers are then taken out of the pressure cooker and directly heated over a direct fire in a short time in the latter case or the cooked rices in the former case are divided into small portions and subsequently heated over a direct fire in a short time to prepare the objective cooked rices. |
