<p>PURPOSE:To attain low power consumption, to miniaturize the telephone set and to attain the reduction in weight by providing an earphone as a receiver on the side of an enclosure and making the attaching/detaching operation of the earphone to serve as the hooking of a handset. CONSTITUTION:The earphone 1a as a receiver is housed to a housing recessed part 1 provided on the side of the enclosure, a curl cable is adopted for a cable 2 interconnecting the earphone 1a and the enclosure and similarly housed in the recessed part 1. A microphone 3 as a transmitter is provided on a lower right part of an upper face of the enclosure and a rod type antenna serving also as the fastener of a band 15 is arranged for an antenna 4. In the case of talking, the earphone 1a is removed from the side of the enclosure, then a hook switch 14 is closed, a radio transmission circuit of a radio circuit section 5 is energized to form communication available state. Thus, a microminiaturized portable radio communication equipment of a write watch size is realized. Since power consumption is less than that of a reception circuit using a speaker, low power consumption is attained for the entire equipment.</p> |
