<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a step or a gap from being generated between an iron core and a yoke and to make it possible to inhibit a reduction in a magnetic efficiency by a method wherein an electromagnetic device is constituted into such a structure that the side of the tip of the yoke is opened in one piece of the yoke, a coupling part to correspond to the sectional form of the iron core is formed in the one piece of the yoke and in a state that the iron core is magnetically coupled with the coupling part, the end surface of the tip of the one piece of the yoke becomes roughly flush with the outward surface of the iron core. CONSTITUTION:A coil 3 is wound on the periphery of an I type iron core 1 of a structure, wherein the part between one end 1a and the vicinity of other end 1b is formed into the form of a square pillar, the other end 1b is formed into a swelled form and an end surface 1c of the other end 1b is formed into a flat form, via a coil frame. A yoke 2 is formed into an I type. An electromagnet device is formed into such a structure that the side of the tip of the yoke 2 is opened in a short one piece 2a, a coupling part 2c to correspond to the sectional form of the iron core 1 is formed in the short one piece 2a and in a state that the one end 1a of the iron core 1 is fitted in the coupling part 2c and the iron core 1 is made to magnetically coupled with the yoke 2, an end surface 2b of the tip of the yoke becomes roughly flush the outward side surface 1b of the iron core 1. A laser beam or an electron beam L is applied to the abutting surface of the one end 1a on the coupling part 2c from the side where the one end 1a is fitted into the coupling part 2c and the one end 1a is welded to the coupling part 2c.
