PURPOSE:To easily select a speaker or a vibrator at any time by detecting an optical signal sent from a light emitting element by a light receiving element at the notice of the arrival of a call, and selecting either a ring signal or a vibration signal. CONSTITUTION:A notice signal generating section 3 generates an illumination signal LL, a ring tone signal SS and a vibration signal SV respectively at the notice of the arrival of a call. The light emitting element 4 sends an optical signal corresponding to the illuminance signal SL to the light receiving element 7 through an optical propagation path 10. When a light shield 11 does not interrupt an optical signal, a light receiving element 7 receives the optical signal, sends an electric signal to a switching signal generating section 8, which generates a switching signal and sends it to a switching section 9. The section 9 sends the ring tone signal SS to a speaker 5, from which ring tone notice is implemented. When the light shield 11 shuts the optical signal, the switching section 9 sends the vibration signal SV to a vibrator 6, from which notice is implemented by vibration. Thus, the speaker or the vibrator is selected easily at any time.
