PURPOSE: To simultaneously transmit the UHF, X and K frequency bands by means of a single waveguide antenna element. CONSTITUTION: An antenna element 1 has the length that is equal to at least a fraction multiple of the lower one of two frequency levels. The higher frequency is transmitted through a slot 3 formed on the wall surface of the element 1, and the lower frequency is supplied to the element 1 through an antenna lead 5 and a capacitor 4. The higher frequency is directly supplied to the element 1 via an antenna lead 6. The element 1 and both leads 5 and 6 consist of the coaxial waveguide elements which are unified with the element 1 to construct a single waveguide unit. The internal structure of the waveguide unit is used as a waveguide for the higher frequency that is transmitted through the slot 3. |
