PURPOSE:To decrease the labor for supplying a bivalve to a boring machine by charging a bivalve into a hopper, setting the bivalve to direct its obverse or reverse face to a definite direction with a reversing means, aligning the direction of the bivalve and supplying to a boring machine. CONSTITUTION:Bivalves 3 charged into a hopper 1 are dropped one by one with a transferring and delivering means 5 to a transferring and delivering means 17 and the posture of the bivalve is corrected to a prescribed state with a transferring and correcting means 61. The bivalve is clamped with a pair of fingers 89 at the tip end of an arm 87 and transferred to a boring machine with a transferring and delivering means 81. In the course of transferring the bivalve from the transferring and delivering means 5 to the transferring and delivering means 81, the obverse and reverse of the bivalve are discriminated and are set to a definite state with a reversing means 19.
