The handle (4) operating the catch of a door or window is fixed to the door or window by screws (8) with special heads (8b) with conical or spherical end faces (8c). The heads have two diametral holes (13) at right angles to each other. These holes enable the screws to be tightened or loosened by using a special tool which must be applied to the screw head. The screws are so positioned that when the door or window is closed the screw heads (8b) fit closely between the moving frame (1) of the door or window and the fixed frame (2).
