PURPOSE:To obtain the high frequency band of signal conversion by constituting a signal transmitting means with a light emitting means and a light receiving means to be respectively provided on the mutually counter opposed to a fixed drum and a rotary drum. CONSTITUTION:On the upper end face 3a of a rotary drum 3 and the lower end face 6a of a circular fixed cap 6, two semiconductor lasers or light emitting diodes (LED) 8 and 9 (light emitting means) are provided as the light emitting means, and two PIN photodetectors 10 and 11 (light receiving means) are provided as the light receiving means so as to provide both kinds of means in a circumferential direction while being correspondent as pairs. The pairs of the respective light emitting means 8 and 9 and light receiving means 10 and 11 are made correspondent to a magnetic head not shown in the figure, and the signals of one sequence can be exchanged by the two pairs composed of two lines. |
