PURPOSE:To prevent water from entering the inside of an article containing box by forming the box by a double-construction consisting of an outer box and an inner box, and providing a clearance leading to an air passage connected to an air cleaner between the end part of a box cover and the opening end of the outer box. CONSTITUTION:A containing box consists of an outer box 16 and an inner box 17 installed inside the outer box with a gap in relation to the inner face of the outer box, the inner box 17 is installed through dampers 18 made up of elastic body on the bottom face of the outer box 16, and the gap between both the boxes 16, 17 serve as an air passage, which is connected to an air cleaner. A box cover 20 is in close-contact with the curl face of the opening end 17a of the inner box 17 through a sealing material 21, and the end part 20a of the box cover 20 is partially lapped over the opening edge 16a of the outer box 16 with a clearance 22 keeping between them. The clearance is formed so that the pressure of water entering through the clearance 22 does not reach the sealing part between the inner box 17 and the box cover 20. |
