PURPOSE:To form a toner image having high density and high contrast on a transfer material by providing an image exposed region and an electrostatic transfer region so as to be within 80 degrees of an opening angle on a drum. CONSTITUTION:The image exposed region and the transfer region are provided proximately so as to be within 80 degrees for the opening angle alpha formed with both, and for this purpose a guiding plate 14 which extends almost perpendicularly towards the drum 2 and is bent closely to a transfer mechanism 5 at the tip point is provided. With this guiding plate 14, the transfer material 11 introduced substantially perpendicularly towards the drum 2 is bent to nearly 90 degrees in the vicinity of the electrostatic transfer mechanism 5 and is supplied between the transfer mechanism 5 and the drum 2, a toner electrostatic image 15 with a constant polarity being transferred on the transfer material 11 and after the transfer material is separated with a separating lug 13, it is discharged outside. Thus in the case of an actual photosensitive toner having the reduction in conductivity hourly, a transfer image having high density and high contrast and without fogging is formed. |
