PURPOSE:To reduce the fixing energy of a toner image and to reduce the power consumption of an entire device by making the viscosity of the toner image decrease by means of a solvent so that transfer and fixing are executed. CONSTITUTION:The toner image is formed on an image carrier 11 by using an image forming means constituted of an ion irradiating means 12 and a devel oping means 16, then the solvent to decrease the viscosity of the toner is sup plied to this toner image by using a solvent supplying means 30. So that the viscosity of the toner is decreased, and this toner image is made to press-contact and transferred to a recording medium 22 by using a transferring means 31. The transferred toner image penetrates into the fiber of the recording medium 22 and fixed by making the solvent inside the toner evaporated, or penetrated and dried so that a final recorded object can be obtained. Thus, the fixing energy of the toner image can be reduced and the power consumption of the entire device can be reduced. |
