<p>PURPOSE:To display a fast feed picture by implementing reproduction at a normal speed and reproduction at a prescribed multiple of speed alternately, applying expansion processing to a prescribed picture data reproduced at the normal speed and outputting the picture data by one pattern subject to expansion processing repetitively. CONSTITUTION:Reference picture data VB1, VB2,... for each compression reference period are reproduced at the normal reproduction at an interval of one second. When a data VB1 is reproduced, the reproduction tape drive speed of a DAT is increased to be twice the normal speed for 2 seconds, then the reproduction tape speed is restored to the normal speed to reproduce a succeeding reference picture data. The similar operation is repeated. Data VB1, VB6, VB11,... are reproduced at an interval of 3.15sec, and written sequentially in a video RAM. Then the reference picture data written in the video RAM is read and subject to expansion processing and the picture data by one frame is generated. One frame of still picture is displayed till one frame picture data is generated by the reference picture data reproduced next.</p> |
