<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a small-size and low-power-consumption transmitter and receiver suitable for communication for portage and to achieve complete information transfer by transmitting and receiving character information by using high frequencies and by displaying it on a display part. CONSTITUTION:A control part 2 scans a keyboard 1 at constant intervals of time to check whether a character [e.g., ''Katakana'' (square form of Japanese syllabary), ''Romaji'' (Japanese in Roman character) and number] has been inputted with a key. When so, the control part 2 fetches the character information and sends it to a series-parallel conversion part 4 and a character display part 3. This display part 3 uses liquid-crystal display, LEDs, etc. The control part 2 is composed of a microcomputer, for example, and the character information is processed in the form 8-bit parallel codes, such as JIS codes; and the result is recoverted into series data, which is sent to a transmission and reception part 5 to be sent out. This radio wave is received by the transmission and reception part 5 and then processed in nearly the opposite method to display the result on the character display part 3.</p> |
