<p>PURPOSE:To decide the kind of fire in a tunnel at early stages and to perform extinction in accordance with the kind of fire at early stages by detecting the occurrence of the fire based on the smoke or gas density of detection data in time lapse fashion by each sensor, deciding the occurrence of the fire based on temperature data, and specifying a position where the fire occurs. CONSTITUTION:The occurrence of the fire is detected based on the smoke or gas density of the detection data in time lapse fashion by the sensors 1a, 1b,... 1n, and the occurrence of the fire is decided by the temperature data, and the position where the fire occurs can be specified.
