<p>PURPOSE:To make smallness in size and reduction of electromagnets possible by changing a position of a pickup roller by an interlocking connecting mechanism and bringing the pickup roller into contact with and separating it from a paper sheet by a common electromagnet, when a position of a hand insertion table is changed from an automatic paper feed mode. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary guide plate 26, which constitutes partly a hand insertion table 23, is inserted between a paper sheet 10 in the uppermost layer of a paper feed part 9 and a pickup roller 18 by turning the hand insertion table 23 in the clockwise direction with a supporting shaft 24 serving as the center from an automatic paper feed mode condition (a) of feeding paper from the paper feed part 9. In this way, a roller supporting unit 31 is turned in the counterclockwise direction by turning a swivel arm 35 in the counterclockwise direction with a shaft 30 serving as the center. Thus a hand insertion mode condition (b), in which paper is fed from a hand insertion table 23, is obtained. The pickup roller 18 can be brought into contact with and separated from the paper sheet at each time the paper sheet 10 in the uppermost layer of the paper feed 9 or a paper sheet 10a on the hand insertion table 23 is fed out by one sheet by intermittently turning the roller supporting unit 31 in a vertical direction by an electromagnet 52 in no relation to a selected mode.</p> |
