PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency and to reduce a load on an operator at a shop side by providing a means to judge the validity/invalidity of an inserted information card, a control means to eject the card when it is invalid, and a means to eject the card in which the rewrite of recording information is completed. CONSTITUTION:When a customer inserts the information card to a front side insertion/ ejection port 31 in the registration operation of goods purchased by the customer, value information is reproduced from the information card, and also, the validity/ invalidity of the information card is judged. When the card is judged as valid, reproduced value information is transmitted to a terminal equipment 2 for goods sale/ registration, and when the card is judged as invalid, the information card is ejected from a rear side insertion/ejection port 33. A terminal equipment 12 for goods sale/ registration converts the value information based on goods transaction amount for the customer after completing registration and transmits it to a recording and reproducing device 3, and the recording and reproducing device 3 ejects the information card from the front side inserting/ejection port 31 after rewriting the recording information of a received new card. Thereby, it is possible to improve the working efficiency by the reduction of time and to reduce the load on the operator at the shop side. |
