The invention concerns a single-piece blow-moulded plastics packing comprising a body (11) and a mouth piece (12). The mouth piece (12) has a neck (13) and a pourer (17). Inside the neck is an annular space (29) with a hole (23) at the bottom. When pouring, the hole (23) can act as an air inlet. On completion of pouring, drips of liquid remaining on the outside of the pourer (17) can flow down into the annular space (29) and through the hole (23) back into the packing. The packing is manufactured by first producing a semi-finished article in which the neck (13) is joined to the pourer (17) by means of an intermediate element (19). After blow moulding, the protuberance (21) is cut away by stamping, thus forming the hole (23). The pourer (17) is then inserted in the neck (13), inverting the intermediate element (19) and forming the annular space (29). In order to empty the packing completely after pouring out most of the contents, the pourer (17) can be pulled out of the neck (13). |
