Zeolites L, and in particular zeolites KL comprising silicon, aluminium and 1 to 10 % by weight of non-exchangeable zinc, are zeolites with a reduced overall electronegativity, and may be used in processes where alumino-zeolites L are conventionally used, such as the aromatisation of C6 alkanes, or selective hydrogenation of a benzyl compound. |
