The control device has a number of electronically controlled switches (S1,..S5) for switching the respective lamps (A1,..A5), in response to phase-shifted clock signals provided by a clock generator (16). An electronic control stage (T1a,..T5a ; T1b,...T5b) is coupled to the clock generator and the controlled switches, for periodic interruption of each of the latter at a repetition frequency of between 8 and 22 Hz. |
