PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner wherein it is useable singly, and for alteration of a part to be air conditioned such as partition alteration of a room there is no need of moving an existing air conditioner and prevision of another air conditioner is eliminated, and further it is deals with such alteration. SOLUTION: A cylindrical partition 2 is provided in a housing 1 composed of an upper plate 1a, a side plate 1b, and a lower surface cover plate 1c, and an air chamber 3 is formed between the partition and an internal surface of the housing, and further there are formed in the lower surface cover plate an air blowoff outlet 4 communicated with the air chamber and having an opening/closing vane 14 and an air suction hole 5 communicated with the interior of the partition, in which partition there are provided a filter 6 and an air fan 7, and a heat exchanger 8 for cooling or heating air in the partition and feeding it into the air chamber, and further there is provided an air blowoff outlet 9 at a proper position which is ordinarily closed, and an air suction hole 10 is provided which comprises a cylinder 11 penetrating the housing and the partition and is ordinarily not closed. |
