PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a satisfactory image by eliminating an image defect which is caused by a transfer auxiliary device. SOLUTION: Between a developing device 13 and a transfer charger 14, pretransfer destaticization charger which discharges a photoreceptor drum 12 to reduce force with which a developer image is electrostatically attracted to a photoreceptive drum is provided. In the case image density that is higher than a specific value is set by a density set key on an operation panel, a CPU 62 actuates the prehansfer destaticization charger before the transfer of the developer image, thereby improving efficiency in transferring the developer image. |
