PURPOSE:To arrange a decorative sheet into a cavity in a state wherein the decorative sheet is overlapped together with a skin and to obtain a molded base material by boring many small holes in the external peripheral part or using the decorative sheet coated with a hot melt adhesive on the surface of the external peripheral part and molding a molded body coated with the skin and thereafter cutting and removing an unbonded skin part which covers the decorative sheet of the molded body and exposing the decorative sheet. CONSTITUTION:Many small holes 8 are perforated in the whole bonding allowance 1 of a decorative sheet 7. Further the bonding allowance of the face side may be coated with a hot melt adhesive and dried. A skin 6 whose surface is directed toward the mold face side of a top force is arranged in this mold face side. Then the top force and a bottom force are clamped. Molten resin is filled to the rear of the decorative sheet 7 and to the rear of the skin 6 surrounding the outside thereof and to the cavity part between the decorative sheet and the mold face of the bottom force. The top force and the bottom force are released and a molded body 12 is obtained by detaching a check pin and a clamping means. The decorative sheet 7 is exposed by cutting and removing the skin part 6A which covers the ornament part 11a of the molded body 12 with a cutter.
