The condenser comprises a multiplicity of heat-exchange tubes (D1-D4, A1-A4) capable of being passed through by the fluid, with transfer of heat from this fluid to an external medium through the walls of the tubes, extending approximately vertically and emerging by their upper and lower ends into upper (H1-H5) and lower (B1-B4) connection chambers, which are passed through in succession and alternately by the fluid, each time by means of one or more heat exchange tubes in parallel, the lower chambers being formed by a lower manifold tube (B) extending substantially horizontally and divided, in a manner which is leaktight to the fluid in the gaseous state, by transverse partitions (CB1-CB3), these partitions having, at their lower lower part, openings (P1-P3) for the passage of the condensed fluid between the lower chambers. <IMAGE>
