This inhibitor is used in the composition of oils, lubricants, lubricating and cooling liquids, organic and polymeric coatings, wax emulsions etc. It provides increased protection, is non-toxic, releases no harmful fumes and has no unpleasant odour. The inhibitor contains a mixture of an incomplete ester of the higher fatty acids, C10-C20, with amino alcohol and/or an incomplete ester of the vegetable fatty acids with amino alcohol and also a condensation product of ethanol amine with boric acid at a ratio between 1:1:1 and 1:1:4.
