PURPOSE:To prevent the useless use of message channels when a call is received at a mobile station having its power supply kept OFF from a subscriber of a general telephone network by providing a memory to a base station to store the power stte information on the mobile station and also providing a power state information generation/transmission means to the mobile station respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a power switch 41 is turned off, the change information on the switch 41 is added to a power state code generating part 32. The part 32 produces a corresponding code and applies it to a data transmission part 31. Then the corresponding state signal is sent to a base station via a MODEM 12 and a transmission part 11. At the same time, a power supply part OFF control signal is applied to a power supply part 42 from the part 32. Thus a power supply is turned off. Then the controller of the base station stores the taken-out power state information into an internal memory. When a call is received from a subscriber of a general telephone network, the corresponding part is checked in the memory to check the power supply is kept ON or not. If so, sends the absence of the corresponding subscriber of a mobile station to the calling subscriber with no transmission of a loop check command. |
