PURPOSE:To integratedly fit a thermoplastic resin made nut for fastening an auxiliary machine to a thermosetting resin made intake manifold by inserting the nut into the intake manifold in molding the intake manifold. CONSTITUTION:In molding an intake manifold 1, there is prepared a thermoplastic resin made nut 4 having a female thread portion 4a around its inner periphery, a radially projecting portion 4b for preventing the slip-off at the end of its closed side, and a coating material 5 containing magnetic body coated on its outer surface. Next, the thermoplastic resin made nut 4 is fitted to a projecting portion 2b provided on a boss portion and a recessed portion 2a for molding a boss reinforcing portion, and a mold 2 is assembled with a core 3 made of a low melting point metal, to thereby form an intake manifold molding space. Therefore, the thermosetting resin made intake manifold injection mold body can be obtained by injecting thermosetting resin into a specified shape while insert-molding the thermoplastic resin made nut. |
