Process for forming a nonwoven material.

A multicomponent fibrous nonwoven structure is obtained by a process for forming nonwoven materials using a forming chamber in conjunction with multiple fiber sources and a forming surface to create multicomponent nonwoven materials with varying features. The materials so produced are suitable for use in a wide variety of applications including personal care products such as diapers, feminine pads and adult incontinence products. Apparatuses for making this structure and carrying out the process are also disclosed.
