<p>PURPOSE:To improve performance in a standard of the sizes of a storage battery by increasing the capacity of three cells in a main battery 10% more than that of the remaining three cells, connecting a diode to a switch in parallel in a polarity to charge an auxiliary battery under the open conditions of switch. CONSTITUTION:There are provided three cells A1, A2 for constituting a main battery, wherein the three cells A1 has a higher capacity than the three cells A2 by 10% while a plus (+) terminal 9 of the three cells A2 are connected to a plus (+) terminal 10 by means of a connection can 4 having a switch 5 and a diode 6. Even in the case where the main battery performed discharge completely, the capacity of the three cells A1 remains. By closing the switch 5 connecting the main battery to the auxiliary battery in parallel, the voltage corresponding to that of normal six cells can be obtained between outer load connecting terminals. It is thus possible to increase the capacity of the main battery and a storage battery with the auxiliary battery excellent in its performance in a standard of sizes.</p> |
