PURPOSE:To improve high frequency characteristics by connecting the earth electrode of an arrester with an earth side substrate whereas connecting other electrode through a metallic plate, having such shape as compensating the distributed capacitance and inductance, with a high frequency line. CONSTITUTION:Earth electrode of an arrester ARR is connected with an earth side substrate EA whereas other electrode is connected with a metal plate PL. Widths WA, WB, WC in Y-direction of regions A, B, C, located in X-direction of the PL, are set WA<WB<WC. Region A side is connected with the central conductor 13a of an input connector 13 while furthermore grounded through an inductance L2. Region C side is connected through a capacitor C1 with the central conductor 14a of an output connector 14. Region A functions as an inductive region whereas regions B, C function as capacitive regions, wherein region C has higher capacity than region B. External conductor 13b of the connector 13 is directly grounded whereas the external conductor 14b of the connector 14 is grounded through a capacitor C2. Consequently, increase of loss in high frequency region due to insertion of arrester can be suppressed. |
