This detector comprises two electrically conducting sleeves (bushes) (1, 2), an insulating linkage coupling (3) in which a bore (4) is made, passing right through it, these sleeves (1, 2) being engaged in the bore, facing one another, and fastened so as to keep between them a gap of predetermined width (d), designed to receive and trap a drop of condensed water, making an electrical contact between the sleeves (1, 2); the opposite ends of the latter are connected to gas flow tubes (5, 6), and the sleeves (1, 2) are electrically connected by connections (9, 11) to a detector (12) which detects the appearance of the drop of water by the fall in resistivity which it causes in the circuit (9, 11, 12). <IMAGE>
