PURPOSE: A device for entrance management is provided to maintain security rigidly by allowing entrance when a user's identification code read by a card reader accords with a user's identification code corresponding to a fingerprint recognized by a fingerprint reader. CONSTITUTION: A card reader unit(10) reads a user's identification code recorded in a card. A fingerprint recognition unit(20) discriminates the fingerprint of card holder. A database unit(40) stores the fingerprints of card holders and user identification codes. A keypad unit(30) registers the user's identification code of a person allowed for entrance to the database unit(40) and deletes the user's identification of a person not allowed for entrance. A control unit(50) allows entrance when the user's identification code read by the card reader unit accords with the user's identification code corresponding to the fingerprint discriminated by the fingerprint recognition unit(20).
