Vehicle body cleaning for painting - uses fine mist water sprays to prevent the fluid droplets drifting into rinsing zone

To clean and bonderise metal workpieces before painting, especially vehicle bodies, the mist of bonderising fluid caused by scrubbing and spraying is blocked from drifting into the rinsing zone against the direction of travel by separating the flying droplets from the bonderising zone. The workpiece is covered by a film of water on all sides directly before entering the scrubbing stretch of the bonderising zone. The temp. of the rinsing water is left so that the raised temp. of the cleaning water through the workpiece can be set freely below the temp. of the cleaning fluid. ADVANTAGE - The method gives a total cleaning of the vehicle body, so that faults do not occur in subsequent paint spraying, and raising the temp. of the rinsing bath water saves energy.
