发明名称 THERMAL TRANSFER INK COMPOSITION
摘要 PURPOSE:To contrive to improve protective properties of letters against friction, adhesive property of printed letters to a paper surface and resistance to heat discoloration by containing a hydrogenated cumarone-indene resin as an essential compounding ingredient and by containing a colorant, wax and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer as other main compounding ingredients. CONSTITUTION:The title composition is a thermal transfer ink composition mainly composed of a colorant, wax and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer compounded with a hydrogenated cumarone-indene resin obtained by hydrogenation of cumarone-indene resin containing cumarone, indene or alkylindene and phenol or alkylphenol as essential monomer ingredients. The hydrogenated cumarone-indene resin to be used is obtained by hydrogenation of a raw cumarone-indene resin containing cumarone, indene or alkylindene and phenol or alkylphenol as essential constituent monomers. The hydrogenated cumarone- indene resin is excellent in compatibility with the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.
