PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a peak resonance coupling voltage, without requiring excessive switching rating by equipping an LC tank circuit including a plurality of semiconductor elements for switching a DC voltage from a DC voltage source, and a resonance capacitor with an antiferroelectric material as a dielectric. SOLUTION: A parallel resonance coupling inverter motor drive device includes an LC tank that controls transition by zero-voltage conditions so that a power loss caused by a motor-drive transistor hardly exist or does not exist at all, and the capacitor of the tank circuit is a voltage-variable capacitor, made of an antiferroelectric material for giving capacitance that increases along with the increase in a terminal voltage, as a result of change in a state in a dielectric material in a high electric field. By nonlinear capacitor effects, a peak voltage required for creating the product of voltage by seconds for accepting a coupling voltage waveform being applied to a switching transistor is reduced, and the maximum energy is transferred without generating voltage stresses. |
