<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a voltage supplied to a signal processing means from rising abnormally by making a power consuming means consume electric power by itself when a signal processing means and a signal transmitting and receiving means are small in power consumption. CONSTITUTION:An IC 17 sends the actuation confirmation signal of an element 16 for signal transmission to a terminal equipment 14 through a coil 14 for signal transmission and reception and the terminal equipment 1 detects the actuation confirmation signal through a coil 6 for signal transmission and reception and a received signal detecting element 8 and then drives a signal generator 7 to send signals indicating processing contents and data from the coil 6 to the portable carrier 90. The portable carrier 90 decides whether the signal is received from the terminal equipment 1 through the coil 14 and received signal detecting element 15 and the portable carrier 90 is placed in a reception wait state; and the power consumption is reduced almost to the data holding current of the IC 17, which turns on an element 18 for voltage control and supplies a current to a ground line 20, so that the electric power is consumed by the means itself. Consequently, the voltage applied to the IC 17 is prevented from rising abnormally.</p> |
