METHOD FOR PRODUCING NITRILE COMPOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a nitrile compound in a high yield and stably for a long period by efficiently recycling un reacted ammonia to a reaction system and reducing the expenses for treating waste materials in producing an aromatic nitrile compound or a heterocyclic nitrile compound by an ammoxidation. SOLUTION: This method for producing a nitrile compound is provided by separating the nitrile compound from a reaction product gas, then absorbing the un-reacted ammonic gas and byproduced hydrogen cyanide in residual gas with water, recovering the ammonia and hydrogen cyanide from the above water absorbing them with a distillation within 0.2-0.7 MPa pressure range and retuning them to the reaction system.
