PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk reproducing apparatus capable of adequately preventing sound interruption and so forth due to vibration. SOLUTION: A microcomputer begins readout of data from a disk (step S11), continues the readout of data from the disk until a memory is caused to be full (step S12), and suspends the readout from the disk when it is determined that the memory is full (step S13). The microcomputer judges whether a counted value supplied from a counter is larger than a constant value or not, in a state that the readout from the disk is suspended (step S14). When the microcomputer determines that the counted value is larger than the constant value, the microcomputer returns the process to the step S11, and resumes the readout of data. Namely, when generation of continuous vibration not less then a prescribed level is detected, the readout of music data from the disk, which has been suspended, is resumed.
