PURPOSE:To obtain a heat recording body excellent in adaptability for a high- speed recording, high in whiteness, small in static coloration, free from an undesirable phenomenon such as whitening and having an extremely well balanced character from the aspect of quality by incorporating the cynnamyl adipate represented by a specific structural formula in a heat-sensitive color- developing layer. CONSTITUTION:In a heat-sensitive recording body having a sheet-like substrate, a colorless or light-colored dye precursor formed on at least one side thereof and a heat-sensitive color-developing layer containing a coloration agent adapted to react under heat with the dye precursor to develop the color, the heat- sensitive color-developing layer contains as a sensitizer the dicinnamyl ester of dicarboxylic acid represented by the formula I. As a result, when n is 4 in the formula I, i.e., cynnamyl adipate is used, there is neither lowering in whiteness in comparison with higher fatty acid amide such as stearic acid amide nor experiencing of a phenomenon such as whitening responsible for the deterioration of the quality of color developed picture with the passage of time and an extremely high recording sensitivity and heat resistance is obtained. |
