A pile fabric is disclosed and claimed, comprising a ground fabric of polyester filaments and a pile of natural fibers, up to four pile picks being woven between each two adjacent weft yarns of the ground fabric. The bond of the pile picks consists at least in part of three or five warp through-pile weavings. A special use of this fabric is an upholstery cloth for car seats and other seats of furniture.
