PURPOSE:To reduce the load of an operator by retrieving the data based on the result of comparison carried out between a period decided by the start and end points and the time information and setting the remaining part of the information which decides a period based on a prescribed rule when a part of the information is set by the operator. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard is provided with the keys 11 which input the data, an input/set key 12 which completes the input of data, a cursor shift key 13 which changes the data input position on a liquid crystal display device LCD 2 and shifts the display contents on the LCD 2, a power key 14 which turns on and off a power supply, and a retrieval key 15 which carries out the retrieval of data. Then the data having the data information (year, month, day) as the time information are inputted and stored. At the same time, the stored data are retrieved by the data retrieving function based on the result of comparison carried out between a period set by an operator and the data information on the stored data. As a result, the load of the operator is reduced. |
