<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate with key operation by deciding a new character to be the following character when it is detected that the new character is started to be hand-written at the outside of a guide frame, and displaying newly the guide frame. CONSTITUTION:When a microcomputer 6 detects that a tablet 3 starts hand- writing, it operates as follows. (1) If input is inputted from a key 5, it finishes its operation. (2) If an inputted coordinate value is a left side, a guide frame display means erases the left side of a display part 2, and displays the guide frame 1 at the left side. (3) If the inputted coordinate value by a guide frame outside detecting means is not the outside of the guide frame, handwriting is displayed in the guide frame, and handwriting data is stored successively in a RAM 8. Then, if the inputted coordinate value is the outside of the guide frame, a character is inferred by a character recognizing means, and the guide frame is erased, and the display part 2 is reset to former display, and corresponding character dot data is sent to the display part 2, and a recognized result is displayed. Thus, the operation to push the key for every character becomes unnecessary.</p> |
