摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce the shortening of a detection distance by controlling a follow-up device such that head-on or tail chasing is judged, and a steering signal is corrected on the basis of the judgement, and further a relative positional relation of look-down or look-up is provided, respectively, in case of head-on or tail chasing. CONSTITUTION:Whether or not a relationship with an initial and middle induction time target is head-on or tail chasing is judged by a head-on/tail-chasing judgement unit by deciding a relative speed signal detected by a relative speed detector 15 to be larger or not than a flying speed of a follow-up device in a target direction. As the speed nuMT of the follow-up device itself in the target direction and the relative speed nuc between the target and the follow-up device are compared, and head on when VMT<Vc and tail chasing when VMT>Vc are judged. The starting signal in an elevation direction is positively corrected in the case of the head-on and the follow-up device is steered to be higher than the target. Further, in the case of the tail chasing the signal is negatively corrected and the follow-up device is steered to be lower than the target.</p>
