PURPOSE:To measure a body having a small weight, as well, with high accuracy, by a simple constitution, by changing over a spring and a load cell in accordance with weight, and weighing the body. CONSTITUTION:One end of a pan receiving bar 4 which has been formed with a scale pan 3 in one body is coupled with a tension spring 6, the bar 4 is displaced in proportion to weight of a body placed on the pan 3, this displacement is detected by a photoelectric sensor 12 through a disk 11, and a digital signal according to the weight is generated. Therefore, a body having a small weight is measured with high accuracy. On the other hand, when weight of a body which is placed on the pan 3 is increased, a detection switch 17 is closed by the bar 4, also load is put on a load cell 14, and electronic weighing is executed. Accordingly, a body having a small weight is also measured with high accuracy, by a simple constitution, which does not require the changeover of load cells consisting of a lot of ranges of different kinds, etc. In this regard, when an offset value of the load cell in case of no-load is stored in a memory, offset correction of the load cell is executed easily and exactly. |
