PURPOSE:To easily check a data of a specific mode, by reading and printing only a data of a specific mode which has been designated, among the data which have been stored in a memory device in accordance with an input operation, in an electronic register. CONSTITUTION:To an electronic register is connected a journal memory 8, and when the electric power supply is turned on, present year, month and data data which have been stored in the register are written in 0-th line and 0-th-5-th rows of the memory 8, and a date code DA is written in 0-th line and 6-th, 7-th rows. Subsequently, a mode switch and a responsible person switch are designated to ''REG'' and ''A'', respectively, and a money amount key is operated. When write is finished in this way, an END code is stored. In case of printing only a key code which has been inputted by a return REF mode, among the data which have been stored in the memory 8, the mode switch is designated to a check mode, and after that, the money amount key and a cash/deposit money key are operated in order.
