<p>PURPOSE:To attain a slot-in operation with the small operating power by transferring a tray to a 1st position from a 2nd position by means of a tray transfer means with no application of the force of a spring member when the working of the tray transfer means is controlled at the 1st position of the tray. CONSTITUTION:A pair of left and right tray drive gears 52 and 53 are provided to horizontally transfer a tray assembly 59. A connection spring 49 is added to transmit the driving force to the gear 53 in order to apply the spring force at the cassette tape loading/unloading position of the assembly 59. When the assembly 59 is pressed against the force of the spring 49, a tray detection switch is turned on and a drive motor is driven via a control part. Thus a slot-in operation is carried out. As a result, the slot-in operation of the assembly 59 is attained with the comparatively small operating power just by pressing the assembly 59 against the force of the spring 49.</p> |
