PURPOSE:To make it possible to surely supply a backup power source for momentary service interruption and also to ensure high safety at the time of maintenance or the like by a method wherein a stored charge is impressed on a rectifying output end by making a switch operate (turn ON) as a discharge channel of the stored charge is formed when the momentary service interruption occurs, and thereby a temporary supplementary power source is supplied. CONSTITUTION:When momentary service interruption occurs, a switching transistor Q1 is put in a switch-ON state. Thereby a discharge channel of a large- capacitance electrolytic capacitor C1 constructed of a resistance element R2 a light-emitting diode the switching transistor Q1 a resistance element R5 is formed and a stored charge of the large-capacitance electrolytic capacitor C1 is to be discharged through the aforesaid switching transistor Q1. On the occasion, the light-emitting diode of a photothyristor PC interposed in the discharge channel is lighted, a thyristor of the photothyristor PC is put in a state of continuity therewith, and the stored charge of the large-capacitance electrolytic capacitor C1 is impressed on a rectifying output end through a resistance element R6 for limiting current and the thyristor of the photothyristor PC. |
