<p>PURPOSE:To surely hold a thin original with no fear of generation of wrinkles and position deviations by providing a transparent conduction layer and an optical reading coordinate component layer to a transparent coordinate plate which is adsorbed onto the surface of an electrostatic attracting plate via the original to be read. CONSTITUTION:A transparent coordinate plate 30 consists of a transparent conduction layer 32, an optical reading coordinate pattern 34 formed on the layer 32, and a transparent base layer 36 which covers the layer 32 and the pattern 34. An original 40 put on a electrostatic attracting plate 20 is pressed by the plate 30. Then the electrodes 24a and 24b are connected to a DC power supply. Thus and electric field pierces through an attraction layer 26 and the original 40 to reach a part of the layer 32 from the electrode 24a and then fed back to the electrode 24b after piercing again through the original 40 and the layer 26 from another part of the layer 32 since the distance between the saw tooth parts is smaller than the distance between the layer 32 and the electrode 24 which hold the original 40 between them. As a result, the original 40 is held flat and firmly with no wrinkles produced.</p> |
