PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to feed oil to a tilt cylinder by supplying pressure oil to a trimming cylinder during trimming, and expanding the inner piston of the rod of the tilt cylinder as the rod of the trimming cylinder is expanded and puts a swivel bracket in an upward turning movement. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 40 is driven to rotate a motor 41 to tilt an outboard motor up, oil is sucked from a reservoir 25 and allowed to flow into the lower room 37 of the spool 34 of a spool valve 31 and thrusts the spool 34 up to open a valve 38 and at the same time a valve 39 is opened and the oil is allowed to flow into a room 33 and to a passage 25 through a flow passage 35. The oil is allowed to flow to the base side of a trimming cylinder 11 through a flow passage 26 to expand a rod 12 but is not allowed to flow to the base side of a tilt cylinder 15 by a control valve 4 and a rod 17 is not expanded. Only the rod 12 is thus expanded and a swivel bracket is put in a turning movement throughout a trimming area. During the process, the rod 17 has its inner piston 20 slid within a piston 19 in association with movement of the swivel bracket. |
