PURPOSE:To form a lump or a powder hard to collapse even when powder minerals are again solidified and moisture is added to the solidified one by a method wherein a magnesium oxide material is added to and mixed with powder minerals and the obtained mixture is pressed and solidified. CONSTITUTION:A proper amount of a magnesium oxide material formed into a powder in the same way as powder minerals is added to and mixed with the powder minerals using a proper mixer and the obtained mixture is continuously pressed and solidified by a proper means. For example, the powder mixture is poured in the gap between opposed press rollers and passed therethrough while compressed to be solidified in a plate shape. If necessary, the plate shape solidified matter is further ground by a grinder such as a hammer mill to prepare a granule which is, in turn, screened on a sieve to arrange the particle size thereof. The plate-shape solidified matter or the granule prepared by grinding the same immediately absorbs moisture in air in a keeping process after manufacturing to make it possible to secure a water-insoluble solidified state. |
