PURPOSE:To feed different kinds of substrate in a mixed state so as to reduce the necessary space and improve the productive efficiency by providing a plurality of substrate housing boxes, a means which moves a sucking means to the position of an arbitrary substrate housing box, a means which carries out substrate housing boxes, and a controller which controls the above-mentioned means. CONSTITUTION:After a sucking section 1 is lowered by means of a vertically driving section 2 and sucks a substrate 6, the section 1 is raised by means of the section 2 while the section 1 sucks the substrate 6. When the section 1 rises to a prescribed position, an upper limit switch is actuated and a horizontally driving section 3 is started and moves the substrate 6 to the position of a conveyor 4. When the substrate 6 is moved by a prescribed distance, forward limit switch is actuated and the sucking operation of the section 1 is turned off. As a result, the substrate 6 is lowered onto the conveyor 4. When the transfer of the substrate 6 is completed, a conveyor driving section is actuated and the substrate 6 is fed to a mounting machine. An arbitrary instruction is issued from a controller to one of substrate housing boxes 1, 2, and 3. |
